Going Vertical and Athleta Sports Marketing Plan Expansion into Canada

OMAHA, NE and NEPEAN, ONTARIO – 23 April 23, 2009 – Going Vertical, LLC and Athleta Sports Marketing Inc. today announced they are forming a strategic alliance for the global expansion of Going Vertical training facilities in the Canadian market. Athleta will bring its established sports marketing, promotions, sales, and extensive network to Going Vertical’s unique sports performance training organization.
Currently, Going Vertical’s US-based footprint consists of facilities in California (1), Illinois (4), Nebraska (2), New Jersey (1), and New York (1). “We are pleased that Athleta chose Going Vertical as its strategic option for speed and agility training. It really opens the door to expand into new national and international markets,” said Brad Mellott, President and CEO, Going Vertical. SJSA to open Going Vertical South Jersey November 1st

South Jersey Sports Academy (SJSA) is the newest licensee set to open a Going Vertical inside their facility. The grand opening of the 25,000 square foot SJSA facility has been scheduled for November 1, 2008, and Going Vertical will be its most recent added feature.
In addition to operating a Going Vertical, the revamped South Jersey Sports Academy facility will include a new state of the art weight room and strength and conditioning area, multiple baseball tunnels, four basketball/volleyball courts, and a video conference room for coach/player film breakdown.

Going Vertical opens 3 new facilities in May

Going Vertical, established in 1998, is a cutting edge performance enhancement training program for athletes of all ages and abilities, youth to professional. GV’s unique performance enhancement training, which incorporates advanced technology and equipment, has become a critical part of the competitive athlete’s process for improving overall speed, quickness, and explosiveness.
Going Vertical has begun its rapid expansion plan with three new facilities opening in the month of May. Our first East Coast facility opened inside Premier Fitness in Nanuet, NY (www.premierfitnessny.com). The fourth facility in the greater Chicago-area is located in Libertyville, IL (www.athleteunlimited.com). GV also opened its Grand Island, NE facility on 5/31/08.
